Raipur. The police have arrested the robber bride Pooja Devangan and her mother Gayatri Devangan in the capital. The accused woman had married 5 men in 10 years without getting divorced. After this, she stole their jewellery and kept extorting money by threatening to implicate them in false cases. The entire case is from MujgaDakeshwar Devangan, a resident of Boriyakla police station, had filed a complaint in the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Akanksha Beck against Arang resident Pooja Devangan alias Geetanjali and her mother Gayatri Devangan. The applicant told the court that he had married Pooja. His wife used to stay at her maternal home most of the time. Dakeshwar doubted his wife’s character and collected information about his wife.han police station area.
While collecting information about Puja and her mother Gayatri, Dakeshwar met Purushottam Devangan. Purushottam told that he had married Puja on 15 January 2016 in the Arya Samaj temple of Sanjaynagar Tikrapara. He also showed the marriage certificate as proof. After this, it was found out that Puja had married five people in the same way and had not divorced anyone. After the court order, the police had registered a case of fraud and blackmailing against the daughter and mother.
Took out the jewellery kept in the bank locker and gave it to the mother
After marrying Puja, Dakeshwar had kept the gold jewellery of other family members in the bank locker. Robber Puja, seeing an opportunity, took out the jewellery from the bank locker and gave it to her mother. After this, she started demanding money. If the money was not given, she started threatening to implicate him in a false case. According to Dakeshwar, Puja and her mother were blackmailing and extorting money from the people whom Puja had married earlier.
