Know the importance of today’s day and puja auspicious time

According to the Puranas, Lord Ganesha was born on the Chaturthi of Bhadaun in the second quarter of the day. That day was Swati Nakshatra and Abhijeet Muhurta. A similar coincidence is happening today. Due to the coincidence of Tithi, Vaar and Nakshatra in the afternoon i.e. when the Sun is directly above the head, Goddess Parvati created the idol of Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva breathed his last into it. There is a coincidence of Tuesday on the establishment of Ganesha. Scholars say that worshiping the Vighneshwar form of Ganapati in this yoga gives the desired results. This time on the installation of Ganesh, Rajyoga named Gajakesari, Amala and Parakram together are forming Chaturmahayoga.

On this day, along with establishment, there are only two auspicious times in the day for worship. Actually, the installation and worship of Lord Ganesha should be done only in the afternoon. Among the Ganesha idols installed in the public pandal, there is also an idol which is decorated with a gold crown. This is the only statue in Chhattisgarh which is installed every year with this decoration. This statue is situated in Gol Bazaar of Raipur.
