There are immense possibilities in the field of industry and business in Jammu and Kashmir. Youth should come forward for startups in various fields but it will be successful only when there is peace here. Youth of Kashmir should work for peace and contribute to make Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream of making India developed by the year 2047 a reality. Governor Shri Ramen Deka said these things while interacting with the youth of Kashmir who had come to Chhattisgarh under the ‘Youth Exchange Program’ of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. Under the
‘Youth Exchange Program’ of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and Home Ministry of Government of India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, 132 youth studying in schools and colleges of 6 districts of Kashmir, Srinagar, Kupwara, Baramulla, Anantnag, Pulwama and Badgaon, reached the capital Raipur on 26 January on a 6-day tour of Chhattisgarh. During this time, they will visit places like Gangrel Dam, Adventure Park, Youth Club etc. in Dhamtari district including Chhattisgarh Assembly. In this connection, they came to Raj Bhavan and met Governor Shri Deka.
Governor Shri Deka gave necessary guidance to these youths for career building and becoming better citizens of the country while discharging responsibility towards the country, state, society and family. Shri Deka said that both Chhattisgarh and Kashmir are naturally beautiful states. Youth should know about each other’s state. So that they will be able to know more about their glorious nation. He told the youth important things to move forward in career and life and said that what we do in the present will make our future. He said that today there are many options for career building in front of the youth. Work hard with patience and make your passion your business. Shri Deka guided the youth for startup in businesses like Kashmir’s special dry fruits, carpet, rug manufacturing, tourist guide, home stay.
Young student of Srinagar district Kumari Zeenat Rahi, Kumari Rifat Yusuf of Kupwara, Raja Yunus of Pulwama district etc. shared their experiences during the Chhattisgarh tour. He said that the culture, food, lifestyle of Chhattisgarh is amazing. Everyone appreciated the hospitality and said that other youths from Kashmir should also get a chance to visit Chhattisgarh. The youths also asked various questions related to their career and development of the state to Governor Shri Deka. Shri Deka resolved their queries. The
welcome address in the programme was given by State Director of Nehru Yuva Shri Atul Nikam. Deputy Director Shri R.K. Tiwari threw light on the objectives of the youth exchange programme.
On this occasion, Secretary to Governor Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Joint Secretary Smt. Hina Animesh Netam, officials of Nehru Yuva Kendra and young students from Kashmir were present.
