The 12 tribes of the state were not getting certificates due to quantitative error. Due to the creation of caste certificates, these communities have got jobs in government services. Their rights have been protected. This is the day of victory and achievement of your patience, courage and struggle. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel was addressing the inauguration and Bhumi Pujan program organized at Dabhra in Sakti district today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister gave a big gift to the people of the area by inaugurating development works costing Rs 145 crore and doing Bhoomi Pujan. He also announced to make Malkhauda a Nagar Panchayat and to build a community health center in Chandrapur. In the program, the tribal community expressed their gratitude and happiness to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel by garlanding 12 castes for joining the Scheduled Tribes.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said in the inauguration Bhoomi Pujan program that this government is the government of farmers, tribals and laborers and we always stand with you and will always stand. Our government gave back their rights to the tribals. We are continuously working for the preservation and promotion of their festivals and primitive culture. Shri Baghel said that about one lakh acres of tribal land was snatched away in the name of industry and trade, which we have worked to return. This is the first time in the history of the country that their land has been returned to the tribals.
Giving information about the Swami Atmanand Coaching Scheme launched today, the Chief Minister said that we have signed an MOU with Allen organization and through this we have started providing free coaching to children. Our government has given top priority to career building of the youth. Also, I have announced today that free online coaching of PSC will be given to the students in all the development blocks of the state. With this initiative, talented youth of the entire state will get opportunities and they will be able to work harder to achieve their goals.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that in the last five years, we have done the work of creating 100 revenue tehsils, due to which the people living in remote areas of the state have got maximum facilities. There has been speed in the resolution of revenue matters including easy preparation of certificates like caste, income, residence etc. He said that we have also created a strong structure in the health sector, and are continuously working to provide better health facilities. Through Dhanwantri Yojana, people are getting medicines at cheaper rates, which has saved their money.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that our government has waived off loans worth Rs 9.5 thousand crore of 19 lakh farmers. We have worked to bring prosperity in the lives of farmers by giving them the right price for their produce. He said that the third installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has been received on September 28 and the fourth installment will also be received before March 31, 2024. The procurement of paddy has also increased continuously under our government and last year we purchased 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. He said that the Chhattisgarh government has worked for the welfare of tribals, scheduled castes and farmers and three-fourth of the minor forest produce in the entire country is being procured here. The program was also addressed by Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant and MLA Shri Ramkumar Yadav. On this occasion, the Chief Minister along with the guests launched Sarvshakti Yojana, a joint initiative of the district administration and UNICEF.
Chairman of Cow Seva Commission, Rajeshree Mahant Dr. Ramsundar Das, MLA Chandrapur Shri Ramkumar Yadav, public representatives, officials of tribal society and a large number of common people were present in the program.
