On the occasion of World Tribal Day, pocket book ‘Victory to Tribal Welfare’ was distributed in a program organized at DDU Auditorium today. In this book, about the schemes and achievements run by the Chhattisgarh government for the welfare of tribals in the last three and a half years.
In this program a large number of people of tribal society from different districts including the capital Raipur participated. Shri Hemant Netam, Shri Shatkon Pratap Singh, Shri Prabal Baig, Shri Sudhir Minj and others told that in this book, the implementation of Forest Rights Act, Shaheed Mahendra Karma Sangraha Sangrahalaya Social Security Scheme, purchase of minor forest produce and awards are given for schemes and programs. Along with this, good information has been given about the employment oriented activities being run in the tribal areas.
