Raipur: World Tribal Day: Chief Minister released 44 important books including Adi Uprising

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel released ‘Adi Uprising’ and 44 other booklets published by Tribal Research Training Institute in the program of World Tribal Day organized at the residence office here today. The Chief Minister also released the calendar of Gram Sabha awareness campaign towards forest rights, campaign song and video message of Community Forest Resource Right (Chargaon District Kanker) in the program.

Shammi Abidi, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi were also present.
Tribal Research and Training Institute of Chhattisgarh, on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Indian Independence, in the series of Amrit Mahotsav program of Independence and on the occasion of World Tribal Day, Tribal Research and Training Institute did the work of recording various dimensions related to tribal life. 44 books have been published by the institute.
Tribal Research and Training Institute displays the valor saga of the heroic tribal Jannayaks who played a leading role in various movements for the freedom of the country and the revolts carried out by the tribals from time to time for the protection of water-forest-land exploitation, oppression and for Indian independence. To do Adi Rebellion, Tribal Jannayak booklet of the tribal rebellion and freedom struggle of Chhattisgarh has been prepared. In this book, various movements from the Halba rebellion of 1774 to the Bhukal revolt of 1910 and pre-independence, in which the role of the tribal people of the state is described. The English version of this coffeetable book has been published under the name The Tribal Revolts Tribal Heroes of Freedom Movement and the Tribal Rebellions of Chhattisgarh . Tribal Cuisine:
Northern tribal areas like Surguja, Jashpur Korea, Balrampur, Surajpur etc., Central tribal areas like Raigad Korba, Bilaspur, Kabirdham, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Dhamtari and South tribal areas like Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bastar, Dantewada, Sukma And in the tribes living in Bijapur districts, the resources available in their natural habitat and the special types of dishes and their methods showing their lifestyle have been recorded.
Primitive Art of Chhattisgarh:Tribal communities residing in the districts of North Central and South region of Chhattisgarh state, useful items of their daily life, frescoes engraved in the walls of houses, geometric figures used in specific rituals etc. . In these, artefacts usually made on walls and on the ground, artifacts made of bamboo and rope and tattoos or designs tattooed on the body of women and their traditional knowledge have been recorded.
Tribal Teej festivals of Chhattisgarh: Kathauri, Sohrai festival of hilly Korwa tribe in northern region of the state, Sarhul, Karma festival of Uraon tribe, Bangadi, Jiwatiya festival of Khairwar tribe, Chherta, Akti festival, Kamar of Baiga tribe in central region Mata Pachhani of tribe, Akti festival, Jyotiyan of Binjwar tribe, Chaurdhoni festival, Uvans of Rajgond tribe, Navakhai festival etc , Bij Bahrani of the Halba tribe, Teeja Chauth and Amus or Hareli of the Parja tribe, similar to the Bali festival festivals to the state have also been recorded festivals of other tribes.
Anthropological Studies:An anthropological study book of 09 tribes of the state namely Rajgond Dhurva, Kandra, Nagvanshi, Dhangad, Saunta, Pardhi, Dhanwar and Kondh tribes was prepared. In which the origin of tribes, social organization, political life, religious life and social rites etc. have been described.
Monograph Studies:Monograph studies have been conducted on 21 points related to the lifestyle of the tribes of the state. In which customary law in Gond tribe, customary law in Halba tribe, customary law of hill Korwa, customary law in Kamar tribe, customary law in Majhwar tribe, customary law of Khadia tribe, Sarana festival of Uraon, cultural change in Uraon tribe, Dantewada Fagun Madai, Mawali Madai of Narayanpur, Ghotpal Madai, Bhangaram Jatra, Baiga Godana, Bhujia Godana, Red Bungalow of Bhunjia tribe, Bamboo pot construction in Kumar tribe, Haat bazaar in Kumar tribe, Haat bazaar in Baiga tribe, Kattha construction in Khairwar tribe Publications on Hadiya and Mand Manufacturing Methods have been made in Law and Sarguja Division.
