Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in the program organized on the occasion of World Tribal Day in Jagdalpur today. During this, he inaugurated 2 thousand 300 works and gifted development works worth Rs 637 crore to the residents of Bastar region while performing Bhumi Pujan. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements for the upliftment of tribals and residents of the area.
Under the announcement made by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, B.Ed and D.Ed colleges will be opened in all the district headquarters of Bastar division. Similarly, construction of 50-50 seater hostels for boys and girls in Government College Tokapal and Lohandiguda, construction and installation of statue of Budhadev Gudi, a symbol of tribal culture in Entrepreneur Development Institute Gidam Road and Jagdalpur, Bhimrao Ambedkar East Secondary School Baliram Kashyap Ward Jagdalpur High. Upgradation in school, 10 km from village Bodli to Kahchenar. Construction of new asphalt road, construction of 11 km long road from Mundagarh to Luler Daldali Malkangiri (Odisha), construction of indoor stadium in Jagdalpur was announced.
Apart from this, approval for construction of police station building in Dharampura, Jagdalpur, 07 shops located in Government Medical College, Dimrapal will be allotted to tribal societies for employment promotion of tribal society. Madrimahu – Urukpal – Kumakoleng Length 14.50 Km. Road construction, length 5 km from Madrimahu to Usakpal. Road construction, construction of metalled road from Alevahi to Kaknar, length 30 km. Road Construction, Balak Ashram Burgum V.Kh. Approval of construction of building for Bastanar, Balak Ashram Bodli V.Kh. Approval for construction of building for Lohandiguda was announced.
Similarly, renaming of District Court Jagdalpur Chowk Jagdalpur after “Bhoomkal Chowk”, approval for construction of entrance gate in the name of “Dharmu Mahara” at Dharampura in district Bastar, construction of high level culvert in Avartih river, high Upgradation of School Netanar to Higher Secondary School, Upgradation of Government Girls High School Bade Kilepal to Higher Secondary School, Maize Processing Unit Kokodi District Kondagaon to be renamed as “Maa Danteshwari Namakka Processing Unit Kokodi District Kondagaon”, Government Model Girls College Kondagaon Renaming of Pramila Devi Nag Government Adarsh College, Kondagaon, Government Polytechnic Kanker as Gharman Dev Kandra Government Polytechnic, Kanker.
