A three-day photo exhibition on the topic “From effort to impact of Chhattisgarh’s tribal cultural tradition” will be organized from August 9.

On the occasion of World Tribal Day, August 09, a three-day photo exhibition will be organized focusing on the theme “Chhattisgarh tribal cultural tradition from effort to impact”. In collaboration with the Department of Culture, this event will be held from August 9 to August 11, 2023 at Kalavithika Mahant Ghasidas Museum, Raipur near Ghadi Chowk. The main objective of the program is to reach the people through photo exhibition about the tribal life of Chhattisgarh and help in preserving and preserving their culture in its original form.
Officials of the Culture Department said that the photo exhibition will be inaugurated on August 9 at 6 pm by the Director of the Culture Department Mr. Vivek Acharya, Mrs. Ujjwala Baghel (Managing Director) C.S.P.T.C.L., Mr. Harish Baghel Retired D.G. .mc SPTCL, Mr. Pradeep Tandon President Jindal Steel & Pawar Limited, Dr. Ashutosh Shukla Director Gracious Group of Colleges, Mr. Ashish Upadhyay Regional Project Director Nokia, Deputy Director Archaeological Department Mr. Pratap Parekh.
In this special event, renowned photographers of the city, who have been doing continuous photography work in various tribal areas of Chhattisgarh for the past several years, will inform the general public about their lifestyle through their photographs. Sarvashri Dipendra Dewan, Akhilesh Bharos, Shishir Das, Dhaneshwar Sahu and their team of Raipur will cooperate in the photo exhibition.
