Raipur: World Environment Day: More and more saplings should be planted in Anganwadi centers for environmental protection: Minister Smt. Anila Bhediya

Raipur 6 June 2021. On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhediya planted fruit trees in the Upwara Anganwadi of Abhanpur and Khapri Anganwadi centers of Arang.

Smt. Bhediya said that we should protect the environment and plant more and more saplings in all the places including Anganwadi.

Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Chhaya Verma, Secretary of the Department Smt. Reena Babasaheb Kangale, Director Smt. Divya Umesh Mishra and Sarpanch Upvara Smt. Yogita Girdhar Patel and departmental officers and dignitaries were present on this occasion.

 

Mrs. Bhediya inspected both the Anganwadi centers and got information about the scheme, malnutrition and ready to eat. He directed the District Program Officer to send a proposal to make a mini Anganwadi center at Upvara a full-fledged Anganwadi center. He also gave instructions to solve the problems of Anganwadi workers of Jhula Ghar.

On this occasion, 30 fruit trees were planted in both the Anganwadi centres. Mainly Mango, Guava, Jackfruit, Jamun, Amla and Shady saplings were planted.

It was told by the villagers that now there are no corona patients in the village and they were requested to start Anganwadi.
