Raipur, 10 May 2020. On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the first train coming from Gujarat with migrant workers, students and workers from Chhattisgarh will reach Bilaspur station at around 10 am on Monday. The district administration has completed all preparations for this. This train is coming from Gujarat with one thousand 208 workers and others. The train will reach Bilaspur via Ahmedabad, Godhra, Ratlam, Bina, Katni, Pendrod. The train also includes 20 people from Mungeli district, 53 from Janjgir-Champa district and 11 people from Durg district.
Staff duty has been imposed in every bogie by the district administration. When the train reaches the station, passengers will be dropped from four coaches at once. They will be given a hand sanitizer and mask before landing. A team of the Health Department will be stationed at every gate of the railway station, through which their health testing and screening will be done. People from other districts will be evacuated from Gate No. 2 of the station. People from other development blocks from Gate number three to Masturi and from gate number four will be taken out. The laborers will be sent by buses from the railway station to their villages and districts where they will be kept in the quarantine center. 60 buses have been arranged for the people of Bilaspur district. Employees have been deployed to accommodate incoming people in buses of the area and their departure. Two 108-ambulances will also be stationed outside the station.
Collector Dr. Sanjay Alang reviewed the preparations made at the railway station and gave necessary guidelines. The collector observed the arrangements made to follow the social distance after the workers got off the train, the health tests of the workers at different gates and the arrangements made for the departure from the buses and asked the officials to keep the system in order. The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat along with the Chief Medical and Health Officer and other officers and officers of the railway were present.
