National Service Scheme officers and volunteers honored on National Youth Day

    Raipur, 12 January 2021.  Minister of Higher Education, Sports and Youth Welfare Department of the state, Mr. Umesh Patel said that works of National Service Scheme are very important. Rashtriya Seva Yojana works for social and human welfare in villages by organizing camps. He said that the services of the volunteers of the NSS are commendable. NS with cooperation in health camps and disaster management S is also making an important contribution in spreading public awareness and government schemes in villages. Shri Umesh Patel was addressing the State Level Honor Ceremony of National Service Scheme on the occasion of National Youth Day in the auditorium of Government Nagarjuna Science College, Raipur here today. Mr. Patel, while paying homage to Swamiji on Swami Vivekananda’s birthday on the occasion of National Youth Day, highlighted in detail the work he had done for humanity and motivated the youth to follow the path set by Swami Vivekananda.

    Higher Education Minister Shri Patel said that the work of National Service Scheme in Chhattisgarh is perishable for other states. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has announced to extend the awards of National Service Scheme. He said that earlier only four awards were given under the National Service Scheme, but now twenty awards are being given to volunteers and program officers and institutions doing excellent work under the National Service Scheme in Chhattisgarh.
    The Minister of Higher Education presented 20 awards selected for the State Level National Service Scheme for the implementation year 2019-20. In this, the institute was awarded to the study unit at the college level, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur and at the school level, the Government Model Higher Secondary School Basna District Mahasamund. Similarly, among the Program Officers at the college level, Dr. D.S. of Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institute Bhilai. Raghuvanshi and Dr. Alpana Deshpandeya of Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Government Post Graduate College, Bhilai were awarded, while Mr. Bhojram Patel of Government Higher Secondary School Tarapur and Mr. Somadatta Sahu of Government Higher Secondary School, Sindhbhendi were awarded at the school level.
    Volunteers at the college level include Sri Shankaracharya College Junwani, Kumar Tanuja Verma of Bhilai, Naresh Kumar Sahu of Government Queen Suryamukhi Devi College Churia, Parameshwar Kumar Thakur of Government Danveer Tularam College Uti, Kumari Shilpa Sahu of Government College Kanker, Government Science College Bilaspur K Akshat Tiwari and Atal Srivastava of Kamla Nehru College Korba have been awarded. Similarly, Nikhil Kumar Yadav of Government JY Chhattisgarh College, Raipur, Sociology Studies School, Kala Bhawan Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Takeshwar Sahu of Raipur, Government Babu Chhote Lal Shrivastava Postgraduate College, Dushary Tushar Pandey, Shri Sai Baba Adarsh ​​College, Digma Ambikapur Kumari Radhika, Kumari Shalini Singh Shyam of Government Ramanuj Singh Dev Post Graduate College, Baikunthpur, Gagendra Singh Rajput of Agriculture College Raipur, Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institution Swati Ghote of Bhilai S-1 and Rakesh Kumar of Shankaracharya Engineering College Bhilai S-2 have been awarded. In the same way, at the school level, volunteers in Government Higher Secondary School Chhachanpahari’s Kumari Chitra Sahu, Government Higher Secondary School Ghughwa’s Nikhil, Government Higher Secondary School Sisider’s Jai Kumar Chakraborty, Government Higher Secondary School Akaltara’s Ashish Khandel, Government Higher Secondary School Awarded Rohit Kumar Dhruv of Barnavapara and Kumari Rima Singh of Government Higher Secondary School, Kunkuri. In the beginning of the program, the chief guest and other dates garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda and the song Rajgit and Rashtriya Seva Yojana were sung. Awarded to Rohit Kumar Dhruv of Government Higher Secondary School Barnavapara and Kumari Rima Singh of Government Higher Secondary School, Kunkuri. In the beginning of the program, the chief guest and other dates garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda and the song Rajgit and Rashtriya Seva Yojana were sung.
    On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Dr. Kesharilal Verma, Secretary, Higher Education Department, Mr. Dhananjay Dewangan, Higher Education Commissioner Mrs. Sharda Verma, State Program Officer N.S. NSS including Dr. Samarendra Singh Program officials including Syvan Sevak and other officials were present.
