Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Baghel is taking forward such a class in the state which has been exploited for centuries. His government is working for the development of all along with the advancement of tribal, downtrodden and backward people. I feel proud to be on this forum. Shri Hemant Soren was addressing the closing ceremony of National Tribal Dance Festival and Rajyotsava with the gusto of the chief guest.

Jharkhand Chief Minister i Soren further said that Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh have so much similarity that there are many such areas in both the states. Where it is difficult to find out which of the two states this area belongs to. In fact both Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are brothers. The people of the people of both the states keep visiting each other’s state. He said that the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Baghel is working to advance the country and the world through the National Tribal Dance Festival, which has been struggling for centuries. He said that he had come to Raipur last year to attend the same event. With this inspiration, World Tribal Day was celebrated in Jharkhand. In which the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh also participated. Shri Soren said that a successful attempt has also been made to give a message through the National Tribal Dance Festival that unless all sections are not developed, the country cannot develop all-round.

Presiding over the program, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that primitive culture works to connect everyone. We have organized the National Tribal Dance Festival with the aim of saving it and showcasing its beauty on a large scale. I am glad that a large number of people participated in this event. Till twelve o’clock in the night, people gathered in large numbers to see this beautiful event. He said that we have invited all the states and union territories of the country for this event. Also, tribal artists from 22 countries were willing to participate in this event, but considering the deadline, we only allowed 10 countries. Through this event people came to know how rich our tribal culture is. The beautiful values ​​we get to learn through their dances to save nature and folk life are invaluable to us.

The Chief Minister said that we also set up stalls for the purpose of promoting the craft. A large number of people gathered in these, it shows how eager people are to know our tribal art and how rich folk art it is. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that we are celebrating Foundation Day for 22 years. Now also celebrating the National Tribal Dance Festival. This has doubled our happiness. The Chief Minister also expressed special gratitude to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Hemant Soren, who came to attend the occasion. The Chief Minister said that along with organizing this festival, we are also organizing Chhattisgarhia Olympics in the state. So far 20 lakh participants have participated in this. This includes children and the elderly. Elderly women of 70 years are also playing fugdi. Everyone has fresh childhood memories. With these games diverted attention from mobile, This is also a big deal. The Chief Ministers of both the states released the new issue of ‘Bihaniya’, a magazine of the Department of Culture.

On this occasion, the Home and Tourism Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said that the state government has done a great job of saving our tribal culture through the National Tribal Dance Festival. Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat said on the occasion that people enjoyed the festival very much and due to this the glimpse of our rich tribal culture is visible in a big platform. On this occasion, Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren along with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also visited the departmental exhibition.

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Public Health as special guests in the closing ceremony. Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, MLA Mr. Dhanendra Sahu, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Mr. Atal Srivastava, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Mr. Ashok Juneja, PCCF Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Secretary of Tourism Department Mr. Anbalagan P. The first place in the category of harvesting was given to Karma Dance of Chhattisgarh – National Tribal Dance Festival awards were also given on this occasion. In the harvesting category, the Karma dance of Chhattisgarh was awarded the first position, the Dhengsa dance of Odisha in the second place and the Gaddi dance of Himachal Pradesh in the third place. The consolation prize in this category was given to Assam.

Sikkim got the first place in marriage ceremony – Tamang cello dance of Sikkim got first place in marriage ceremony and other category, second place went to horse dance of Odisha and third place went to Dumkach dance of Jharkhand. Assam and Gujarat got the Special Jury Consolation Award. Apart from this, artists from abroad were also honored by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The consolation prize in this category was given to the Siddhi Dhamaal dance form of Gujarat.

Exhibition of Agriculture Department was awarded first place- Exhibition of various departments was also rewarded on this occasion. The first place went to the Agriculture Department, the second place to the Energy Department and the third place to the Forest Department. In the category of PSUs, first prize went to BALCO, second prize to NMDC and third prize to NTPC
