As per the instructions of the Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, the forest department in the state is carrying out a continuous raid action by campaigning for the prevention of forest crimes. In this episode, CG located at Tatibandh, capital Raipur, yesterday. Two trucks worth more than Rs 10 lakh in Jain’s premises are Khair, Tendu, Wood ball of Kurru and Papra species was caught. On the basis of the information of the informer, raid action was taken by the departmental team formed under the direction of the Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Janak Ram Nayak under the guidance of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi. Here the wooden ball of the same species was kept illegally from Orissa by Manish Aggarwal, resident of Sarsinwa of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. The estimated quantity of wood of 600 nos. Of the species caught by the team is 15 cubic meters. In this, necessary action is being registered against the concerned accused Manish Aggarwal by registering a case under forest offense.
