Raipur, 04 January 2021. Good quality products being prepared by women self-help groups are being hand-picked in Gothans. Recently a self-help group from Ambikapur signed an MoU with a Hyderabad-based company for the sale of vermi compost at a rate higher than the prescribed rate. In this episode, another outstanding achievement of women self-help groups was added today. When Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel arrived today to inspect Gauthan in the village cellar of Bilha development block in Bilaspur district. He was pleased to see that the women of Sailor village were in an MoU with an agro company for the sale of mushrooms produced by his group. During the inspection of the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister discussed with the villagers, women self-help groups and told them how they can get benefit from the Gothan, How can the village get self-reliance and employment to villagers from Gothan. On this occasion, an MoU was signed between Chief Minister Baghel with Jagriti Women’s Self Help Group of Sailor and Shri Ganesh Gupta Deepangi Agro of Bilaspur for the sale of mushrooms. The Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the women self-help groups for this achievement.
The Chief Minister inquired about the cow dung procurement system, construction of vermi compost and the income-tax activities being carried out by women self-help groups under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana in Gauthan. The Chief Minister planted a banyan plant in Gothan. On this occasion, Home Minister and Minister in charge of Bilaspur district Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Parliamentary Secretary Mrs. Rashmi Ashish Singh Thakur and Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Mr. Shailesh Pandey were also present.
