Raipur, 09 March 2021.  Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike, while addressing a webinar organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries on the occasion of International Women’s Day today, said that women who work with determination, self-determination, dedication, without expectation and with human compassion I definitely succeed. He also worships society.

The Governor said that if we look at women today, they are moving forward in every field in the whole world. If we talk about America, the most developed country in the world, Kamla Harris was elected to the post of Vice President there. She is of Asian American descent, being the first woman to hold this position. He said that it is a matter of pride that his mother is Indian. Similarly in our country of India, women are waving their glory in all fields. It has been decided to create a permanent commission in the army for them. This is an important step towards giving women their rights. Today, the responsibility of the Finance Minister in our country has been handled by a lady Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman. Ms Uike said that in Chhattisgarh, women are not far behind. Here in some districts, women are performing their duties well in the rank of collector, in some departments and in local bodies and panchayats. Me too
The Governor said that this year the whole world is going through a corona crisis. In the same perspective, the theme of the International Women’s Day of 2021, “Women in Leadership: Towards a Equal Future Growing in the Coronas”. This has been done to underline the contribution of women serving in the Corona period.
He said that the role of women power emerged during the Corona period, whether it was at home or in the field, she worked shoulder to shoulder everywhere. In our state also, whether as head of health department, as head of district and as a police officer, and also in field, in the field staff of health and police and other departments, women have taken care of their responsibilities as well as at home. Discharged and faced the Corona Crisis with solidarity.
Ms. Uike said that if we women have to move forward, then only women have to build their strength and if a woman progresses in any field, she should extend all possible support.
