Chief Minister honored women on Chhattisgarh Police’s program “Manifestation” on Women’s Day

Raipur, 08 March 2021.  Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended an expression program organized by the Chhattisgarh Police in the auditorium located on the Science College campus on the occasion of Women’s Day today. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel honored women who made significant contributions in various fields of society. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that he is happy to honor half the population. If women are weak then society does not progress further. Today, women are not far behind in any field, from auto-rickshaws to fighter planes. In Danteshwari fighters posted in the Naxal area of ​​Chhattisgarh, women are working bravely and have demolished many Naxalite camps. Today comes the result of any test, So women are at the top of the merit. If we talk about democracy, the situation of women in Chhattisgarh is better than many states of the country. Chhattisgarh has the highest representation of women in the Legislative Assembly. Women should get the right to make decisions at home. We at home should teach our sons how to behave towards women? Today, it has become necessary for women to raise their voice against the atrocities that are happening to them. If you continue to tolerate, then the criminals will be encouraged. In Chhattisgarh, women like Kaushalya Mata, Shabari Mata, Bilasa Bai, Minimata, Phulbasan Yadav, Tejanbai etc. have increased the value of the state.

 

The working style of Chhattisgarh Police has changed the image of the people in the last two years. Now people are not afraid of the police, but have started trusting the police. While the Chhattisgarh Police personnel are relieving stress due to the pulsing program and their problems are being resolved, the grievances of the people are being dealt with speedily through the Samadhan program.

 

Women police personnel working in Chhattisgarh Police have also done remarkable work. Today we feel honored by honoring women of various fields. At the event, the Chief Minister also released a souvenir and a New Year calendar. On every page in the New Year calendar information about women crime and laws for their prevention is provided.
In the program, Chairperson of Women’s Commission, Mrs. Kiranmayi Nayak said that the Police Department has done excellent work in the last two years. Victims are receiving speedy justice through pulsating, reconciliation programs. The Women’s Commission and the Police Department will work in harmony and there will be better results. Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain said that we should keep the spirit like Women’s Day throughout the year, this will be true respect for women.
WhatsApp number will be issued for complaints of crimes against women
In the program, DGP Shri DM Awasthi said that the Chhattisgarh police is going to issue a WhatsApp number soon for complaints of crimes against women, in which the victimized women will be able to complain. Police Headquarters will be given responsibility to the women officer for redressal of these complaints. Shri Awasthi said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, prompt action is being taken against crimes against women. As a result of this, the criminal was sentenced to life imprisonment in the case of rape in just 21 days. Our effort is to punish the culprits in all the cases of crime against women. The expression program for women will last for 7 consecutive days. In all 28 districts, women will be informed about their safety and awareness of the rights provided in the law.
