Raipur, 06 December 2020. The Chhattisgarh government is empowering women through various schemes. Women are being benefited from various employment oriented schemes. Women from remote tribal areas of the state are also getting involved in industry, business. Women of Dantewada district are working shoulder to shoulder with men. These days women are manufacturing cement pillars and fencing lattice. Women will enable themselves with this self-employment and inspire other women for this business. Women had not yet come forward to make cement pole and netting, but the district self-help group of women was motivated to do business under the district government’s ambitious scheme Narva, Garuva, Ghuruwa and Bari by the District Panchayat. As a result, 8 women self-help groups in the district decided to do business and started working. Devguri among all panchayats in the district, Gothan is being built. In which cement pole is required for siege, for this cement pole is being constructed by 8 self-help groups of the district. Up to the present situation, 4950 poles, which have been sold for 14 lakh 85 thousand rupees. 80 families are benefiting from this activity. Disha Women Village Organization Teknar, Sita Women Village Organization Ganjenar, Rani Laxmi Village Organization Gatam, Deepak Women Village Organization Malawada, Jagriti Women Cluster Organization Penta Cement Poll are building in the district.
Chain link fencing is being constructed by 6 self-help groups in the district. Wherein Disha Mahila Gram Sangathan Bhansi, Shanti Mahila Gram Sangathan Matanar, Rani Lakshmi Gram Sangathan Gatam, Royemung Village Sangathan Masauri, Jagadambe Self Help Group Nagfni, Maa Shakti Gram Sangathan Kuakonda Groups till present status 1147 bundles, which is 30 lakh 96 thousand 9 hundred Have sold for Rs. Construction of chain link fencing has benefited 58 families and cement pole construction 80 families. Connecting with chain link fencing and cement pole construction is a major achievement for the women of that region. This is not only making women self-reliant, but also opening up opportunities for other women to join self-employment. Presently, the women will first supply the cement pole prepared by the group for the Gram Panchayat.
