Raipur, 09 September 2020. In the aspiring district Narayanpur, women of self-help groups are doing well to increase their income as well as to protect trees for environmental protection. Women of self-help groups of the district are making attractive and strong tree-guards of bamboo for the protection of plants. The women of the groups have done business of 45 lakh rupees by making 10 thousand tree gads. These tree-guards have been prepared by the group and sold to the district administration at the rate of four and a half rupees per day. These tree-guards have been used in tree plantations along the road and in Gauthano for the protection of the saplings being planted under the massive plantation program being carried out during the rainy season.
