Raipur, 2 June 2021. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Amarjit Singh Bhagat today inaugurated 20 bedded oxygenated COVID isolation ward at Community Health Center, Sitapur in Surguja district. During this, he inspected the health center building and inquired about the investigation and medical facilities. Shri Bhagat appreciated other employees including doctors and paramedical staff for working hard and diligently without caring for their lives during the Corona epidemic.
On the occasion of inauguration, Food Minister Shri Bhagat said that with the starting of 20 bedded Kovid Care Ward in this Community Health Center, the Covid patients of the area will get treatment facility at the block level itself. At the same time, oxygen-rich beds will be available immediately to the patients suffering from corona. He encouraged the doctors and staff of the hospital. Shri Bhagat said that in order to provide relief to the people of the state during the Corona crisis, two months rice is being given free of cost to the ration card holders by the state government. All necessary medical equipment and necessary health facilities have been made available to the residents of the area. He appealed to the people to get vaccinated. Minister Shri Bhagat in a brief program today, distributed checks of 12 lakh 90 thousand rupees to 148 beneficiaries for education, self-employment and better treatment.
