Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission initiated a seven-day yoga training camp on 03 September 2022 under the joint aegis of Voluntary Institute Avatar De-addiction and Rehabilitation Center Khamhardih, Raipur through trained yoga instructors of Yoga Commission. President Shri Gyanesh Sharma was given the chief hospitality. Chairman Shri Sharma said that Yoga has been described as a simple, powerful, important means to rid the people affected by smoking and drug addiction and to get rid of drug addiction and to increase the morale and self-power of the people suffering from drug addiction. Through this seven-day yoga training camp, efforts will be made to include yoga in their daily routine.
Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Secretary Shri M.L. Pandey gave brief information about the yoga activities conducted by the commission for the general public. On this occasion, Shri Ravikant Kumbhakar, Officer-in-Charge, Director of Avatar De-addiction and Rehabilitation Center, Raipur, Smt. Rashmi Dubey, Yoga Sadhak Anita Verma, Asana Gautam and other staff members of the organization were present.
