Nandini Tandi says that I have been bearing the pain of living alone very well. On one hand there is financial problem and on the other hand there is responsibility of bringing up children. In difficult circumstances, one thousand rupees given by the government under Mahtari Vandan Yojana has become a new support for us women. She says that she also does goat rearing. Right now she has one goat, soon she will buy another goat with the money from Mahtari Vandan. Her daughter is also studying in 9th class, whom she wants to give higher education. Nandini says that I wait for the bell to ring on my mobile every month. To tell the truth, now my mind remains happy and wallet remains full.

Nandini Tandi also has a small house in the Dewar colony behind the Sharda temple in Ward No. 4 Idgah Bhata, Mahasamund district. Where she lives with her two children. Nandini becomes emotional while describing her condition with great confidence.

After getting separated from my husband, the responsibility of two children fell completely on my shoulders. Whatever I got by collecting garbage, I used to spend it on the care of children and living expenses. I was able to earn only 100-150 rupees per day with great difficulty. My wallet was always empty, but for the last seven months my wallet is full. Ever since Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has been depositing one thousand rupees every month in the accounts of us women, there has been no situation of the wallet being empty.
