Raipur, 18 June 2021.  Providing hot nutritious food to children and women in Anganwadi centers in Chhattisgarh gives good news of a healthy future. A glimpse of this was seen when Mrs. Radha Srivas of Kashinagar told Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel that by taking nutritious food in Anganwadi, his hemoglobin level improved and he gave birth to a healthy child. On this, Chief Minister Shri Baghel while congratulating Smt. Radha said that if the mother remains healthy then the child will also be healthy. If the child remains healthy, Chhattisgarh will also become strong.

While talking to the Chief Minister, Mrs. Radha told that she got registered for vaccination in the third month when she became pregnant at the behest of Anganwadi’s sister. Earlier she used to go to Anganwadi center occasionally. When he was thoroughly examined during vaccination at the center, his hemoglobin was found to be very less at only 8 grams. In the Anganwadi, they were asked to pay attention to food and drink, as well as it was told that in the Anganwadi center, pregnant women are given hot food every day, including lentils, rice, roti, vegetables, pickles, papad, eggs and ready-to-eat chikki. and other nutritious food. He told that the Anganwadi worker presented the house and explained to my family members about nutritious diet including paying full attention to my diet and advised me to give enough rest at home. I started going to Anganwadi center for food everyday. Due to this my hemoglobin increased to 10 grams in the 9th month of pregnancy. My delivery was normal and when I delivered I was completely healthy. My baby also weighed 3 kg and is completely healthy. Now I am motivating the people around me to go to Anganwadi.
