The players who won medals in the World and Asia Championship of Body Builders paid a courtesy visit to Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Raj Bhawan here today.
Shri Ashok Behera of Ambikapur won the gold medal in the World Championship of Body Builders, Shri Anand Rao of Bilaspur won the silver medal in the South Asia Championship. Similarly, Divyang players Shri Mahendra Yadu of Rajnandgaon and Shri E. Shiva of Raipur became the winners of the Mr. Chhattisgarh competition.
Governor Shri Deka appreciated the achievements of all these players and wished them to bring laurels to the state and the country by performing better in the future. On this occasion, officials of the Indian Body Builders Federation Shri Abhishek Verma, Shri Arvind Singh, Shri Mahendra Tekam and Shri Rajshekhar Rao were present. He also invited Shri Deka as the chief guest in the Junior National Championship to be held in Bilaspur next month.
