Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the four-day International Agricultural Exhibition and Kisan Mela organized at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University. In this international fair, 132 organizations of government, public and private sector are showcasing agricultural techniques and products. Inaugurating the fair, the Chief Minister said that thorns do not prick because of walking on the path shown by the ancestors, it was the dream of the forefathers to properly distribute the amount received from the mineral reserves and natural resources of the state. The Chief Minister said that his government never discriminated against any section and waived off the loans of all farmers, big and small. The Chief Minister said that we started the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to improve the economic condition of the farmers and farmers so that the rural economy remains dynamic in the state.

Referring to the Godhan Nyay Yojana, the Chief Minister said that till date no minister of the country has used a suitcase made of cow dung to present the budget, but a suitcase made of cow dung was used in Chhattisgarh’s Gauthan and I got this. Talking about the economic condition of the farmers of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that in the last three years, Rs.91 thousand crore has been deposited in the account of farmers and this is one third of the total budget which the farmers have got. The Chief Minister said that today money is being saved in the account of farmers and due to this, Gauthan is developing into Industrial Park. The Chief Minister said that the sons of farmers, local youth will now set up industries in Chhattisgarh and the government will also provide them financial help, an example of this is that the products made in villages through C-Mart have now started selling in cities. It has been decided to open C-Mart in each district.

Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that by understanding the principle of demand, we have to learn to produce as per the requirement so that the demand remains in the economy. In view of this, in the country only in Chhattisgarh, Kodo-Kutki is being purchased at the rate of Rs. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that more than 8 thousand Gauthans have been formed in Chhattisgarh, but there was no situation to control law and order regarding land encroachment anywhere. The Chief Minister said that we all grew up in the village and we understand the plight of the villagers. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that villages are becoming self-reliant and farmers are becoming prosperous through Suraji Gram Yojana.

Addressing the farmers at International Agriculture Exhibition and Kisan Mela, Chhattisgarh Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey said that Chhattisgarh is mainly a state based on agriculture and continuous development of agriculture is taking place in Chhattisgarh, the effect of which is visible in the fields and barns. . Shri Choubey appreciated the efforts of Agriculture University for continuous expansion of agriculture and innovation in agriculture in Chhattisgarh. Mr. Choubey thanked the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for getting the farmers a fair price for their produce and waiving off the loans of the farmers. Mr. Choubey said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh are working hard in every sector and they should get good infrastructure from the central government because now the demand for the products of Chhattisgarh is increasing in foreign countries as well.

On the occasion of the inauguration of International Agriculture Exhibition and Kisan Mela, Mr. Surendra Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Farmers Welfare Council, Mr. Agni Chandrakar, President of Chhattisgarh State Seeds and Agriculture Development Corporation, Agriculture Production Commissioner Mr. Kamalpreet Singh, Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Mr. Girish Chandel. was present.
