Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma was very overwhelmed to see the grandeur of Swadeshi Mela while observing the fair. He welcomed and greeted the Swadeshi vendors from other states on this land of Kawardha. On the second day of Swadeshi Mela, the audience was thrilled by the presentation of the program of Anchal Sharma and his musical group.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma said that this is a great opportunity to promote Swadeshi products. We should be proud of the products of our country and adopt them. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma also said that organizing such fairs is an important means of preserving our cultural heritage and supporting the development of local entrepreneurs. He said that today there is a resolve for Swadeshi, we should move forward in this direction, but our product should be in the global market. Our country’s Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has started work in the country with both Make in India and Made in India concepts. He has said that innovation and startups should increase in our country. To increase startups, our Chhattisgarh Chief is working under the guidance of Mr. Vishnudev Sai. He told that I Hub Chhattisgarh institution is being started. I Hub is like Gujarat. Giving information about this, he told that if any youth or person has an idea to innovate in technology but does not have resources, then means and resources will be made available to them. So that innovations emerge from every corner of Chhattisgarh and get a new direction. He told that for this, OMU has been done from Gujarat. I Hub in Chhattisgarh will be started in Raipur’s Engineering College from November. This startup will be Swadeshi. We will get to see the innovations being developed in I Hub Chhattisgarh in the Swadeshi Mela in the coming years.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma said that Swadeshi Mela means the material made in our country. On one side it has an economic aspect which strengthens and on the other side it is of emotion which shows self-respect. He said that you must remember the year 1991 when India used to wander for supercomputers. Countries like Russia and America had even refused to give supercomputers, but after that our country’s company C-Deck made a plan and made the world’s best computer PARAM. Now countries like America and France buy supercomputers from India. India is a capable country today. CEOs and managing directors of big foreign companies are Indians today. India used to be the golden bird because all things like gold, silk, spices, gems were available in India itself. Research in India was very ahead. Universities like Nalanda, Takshila have been here. He said that if there is any product of Swadeshi then the money remains in India and this makes the country self-reliant. Today the country has progressed so much that we are exporting a missile named Brahmos to foreign countries.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma said that our country is rich and we should promote our products and take them forward. This is an opportunity to promote not just business but also our culture and tradition. He said that earlier the development of Kawardha had stopped. A few days ago, the ground breaking ceremony of the road from Thakur Dev Chowk to the new bus stand worth Rs. 11 crore was done and the tender has been done. The tender for the medical college worth Rs. 300 crore near village Ghotiya has been done and the construction of the building will also start. He told that today the ground breaking ceremony of the work costing Rs. 5 crore 75 thousand has been done. Work is being done by preparing an action plan for the development of Kawardha. Every person has to play their part in the development of Kawardha. You can share your ideas for the development of Kawardha. Efforts are being made to develop the city with public participation. He appealed to all the people present to give priority to indigenous products and also inspire the communities around them in this direction.
