Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today announced the construction of a new SDM office in Pratappur, construction of Chandora Jajawal road, construction of a rest house and badminton court in Pratappur and provision of a first referral unit to provide medical facilities to pregnant women at the Adivasi Karma Mahatihar program organized at the mini stadium of village Silauta
    Pratappur in Surajpur district. In the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai launched ‘Hamar Sughar Gaon’ with the aim of making a clean, beautiful and healthy village by the Surajpur district administration and the Whatsapp-based chatbot platform Samadhan Surajpur App to solve the problems of the citizens of Surajpur district. He released the ‘Vikas Patrika’ progress sheet based on the development works of the district and also launched the Champions of Change Award started to encourage officers and employees who have performed excellently in the district administration.
    Chief Minister Sai said that it is a matter of happiness that the people of the tribal society are coming forward enthusiastically to preserve their culture and tradition. Congratulating the people on Karma Tihar, he said that this festival is a part of our culture and tradition and we have to continue it in the future as well. We have to celebrate it with enthusiasm and unity, showing our unity. He called upon the people to stay connected with their traditions.
    The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of PM Modi, people are continuously being benefited by the schemes of the government. The central and state governments are constantly working for the respect of the tribals. PM Janman Yojana is being implemented for the development of the tribals of the most backward class. He also informed the people about the Janjati Gram Utkarsh Yojana for tribal upliftment.
    On this occasion, the Chief Minister visited the exhibition stalls based on government schemes and programs by various departments. In the program, products manufactured by women of self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission were displayed. On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed checks of financial assistance, grant amount and material to the beneficiaries under the beneficiary-oriented schemes of various departments of the government. In
    the program, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that Karma Mahotsav is the unique identity of Surguja. This festival is embedded in the soil here. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade said that Karma Mahotsav is an integral part of natural heritage. MLA Pratappur Smt. Shakuntala Singh Porte read the letter of felicitation to welcome the Chief Minister in the program. On this occasion, MLAs Mr. Bhulan Singh Marawi, Ramkumar Toppo, Prabodh Minj, Rajesh Agarwal, Ms. Uddheshwari Paikra, Bhaiyalal Rajwade and a large number of public representatives and common people were present.
