Raipur: Water Life Mission: Three-Day Workshop: Village Action Plan Based on Ground Reality Instructions

Raipur, 08 December 2020.  Director Water Life Mission Shri S. Prakash today instructed the officials present on the second day of the workshop to be held at Neer Bhawan in the capital on the basis of village action plan ground reality. In the workshop, the Executive Engineers and Member Secretary, District Water and Sanitation Committee presented village action plans prepared by the Gram Sabha in the Gram Panchayats of their district.

 

Districts were informed about the latest works in the presentation at the workshop. Officials said that the village action plan has been completed in all the villages of the district Mahasamund. The remaining districts were 1594 out of 1601 in Rajnandgaon, 664 out of 689 in Bemetra, 567 out of 623 in Dhamtari, 814 out of 956 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, 500 out of 667 in Gariaband, 285 out of 485 in Raipur, 687 in Balod. Action plan has been completed in 357, 193 out of 385 fortifications and 465 working villages out of 963 in Kabirdham district.

 

It was informed in the workshop that the work of domestic connection supply is being done through retrofitting tap water schemes. Under which 54 thousand 981 in 195 villages of district Raipur, 58 thousand 176 in 234 villages of Mahasamund, 33 thousand 899 in 130 villages of Dhamtari, 52 thousand 870 in 187 villages of Gariaband, 43 thousand 519 in 119 villages of Balodabazar-Bhatapara, 66 thousand 582 in 204 villages of the fort, 70 thousand 948 in 470 villages of Rajnandgaon, 36 thousand 474 in 160 villages of Kabirdham, 67 thousand 12 in 226 villages of Balod and 44 thousand 36 domestic connections in 130 villages of Bemetra district. Will be done.

 

Similarly, under the single village scheme, the remaining domestic connections in the districts will be given through group water schemes. Under this scheme, 36 thousand 910 in 153 villages of district Raipur, one lakh 35 thousand 627 in 810 villages of Mahasamund, 15 thousand 587 in 165 villages of Dhamtari, 53 thousand 162 in 396 villages of Gariaband, 437 villages of Balodabazar-Bhatapara. 73 thousand 413, 14 thousand 973 in 62 villages of Durg, 97 thousand 407 in 813 villages of Rajnandgaon, 73 thousand 436 in 660 villages of Kabirdham and 75 thousand 313 connections are proposed in 461 villages of Balod district.

 

Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, Chief Engineer (Electrical Mechanics) and Superintending Engineer and other officers were present on the occasion.
