Under the SVEEP programme, voter awareness campaign program was organized at Dr. Radhabai Government Naveen Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Raipur. Along with this, the new voters who were added to the voter list from the college were honored by wearing ribbons. Additional Chief Executive Officer Shri H.K. Joshi were present. He appealed to the girl students to vote by telling the importance of voting.
It was told in the program that 493 students had applied in the online app in the first phase of the special brief revision program in the college, November-December 2022, out of which the epic cards of 203 students have reached home. Such voters were honored by tying voter bonds. There a Rangoli competition was organized for the girl students. Certificates were also given to the winners of the competition. Assistant teacher Mrs. Chanchal Chaturvedi explained the importance of voting to the volunteers of NSS and Youth Red Cross.
In this sequence, explaining the necessity and importance of voting, oath was also administered to the girl students for voting. District Project Officer Dr. Kamini Bawankar, Assistant District Project Officer Dr. Chunnilal Sharma were present on this occasion.
