Raipur, 20 March 2021,  Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the program of Veerangana Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi Sacrifice Day organized at village Jogi Dalli in Rajnandgaon district today. On this occasion, he unveiled the statue of Veerangana Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi and bowed to him. In his address, the Chief Minister said that Veerangana Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi fought with the British to protect the country’s independence and self-respect. Those who sacrifice their lives in the interest of the country are not respected by any one society and religion, but are respected for the whole society.

 

He said that Lodhi society has also contributed significantly in the development of the state. The Lodhi society resides in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and other states including Chhattisgarh. The people of Lodhi society are especially associated with farming. In order to improve the farming conditions, Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa and Bari schemes are being operated in the state. There are irrigation facilities in the district, but for adequate irrigation, there is a need to raise the water level by making Narva, so that surface and ground water can be used. This will cause water recharging. The Chief Minister announced the Sheetla Talab beautification of the village, construction of community building, construction of new Panchayat building, construction of road in Shamshanaghat and construction of social building for the construction of Sarva Samaj at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh and Lal Bahadur Nagar at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh. declare.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that 44 lakh quintal dung was purchased under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Many villagers bought vehicles by selling paddy and cow dung. Suraji Gram Yojana is a plan to revive the tradition of Chhattisgarh. He said that under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, on March 21, the fourth installment amount will be provided in the account of all farmers. He said that a budget of Rs 5 thousand 703 crore has been kept for the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana this year. Every possible work is being done by the government to ensure that the farmer does not have any problem. He said that to strengthen the economy of the farmers, paddy is being purchased by the government, while loan waiver has also been done.
The Chief Minister said that 44 percent women in the state have anemia. There should not be any physical weakness in our daughters and sisters. Under various campaigns for the creation of strong Chhattisgarh, 99 thousand children have been made malnutrition free and 20 thousand women have overcome the deficiency of blood. He said that for the bright future of children, Swami Atmanand English Medium School is being started in all the development blocks of the state.
