Raipur: Urged Governor to constitute a paramilitary welfare board

Raipur, 24 August 2021. Mr. Ranbir Singh, General Secretary, Confederation of Ex-Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, New Delhi today called on Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey and urged for setting up of Para Military Welfare Board keeping in mind the requirements of serving and retired paramilitary forces in the state. The Governor assured them of necessary action. The delegation said that the formation of the board would help in rehabilitation of paramilitary forces and their families, and benefit of pension related facilities etc. and benefit of welfare schemes. He said that education Can provide financial assistance for health facilities and marriage of children. The delegation said that the financial assistance given to the martyrs in terrorist, Naxal and other attacks should be increased to Rs 1 crore. Along with this, he urged to implement the order of the Government of India to give the status of ex-servicemen to the soldiers of the paramilitary force in Chhattisgarh, so that they can get the benefit of rehabilitation and welfare schemes.
