Raipur, 19 December 2021. Under the urban body elections, votes will be cast on December 20. During this, the voter has to present the identity card. For the convenience of voters, the facility of voter search has been provided in the website of Chhattisgarh State Election Commission. In which voters can see their name as well as download and print voter slip containing photo. In this regard, voters can keep their slips printed from now on. If the voter does not have any other recognized document of identity available with him, then he need not be disappointed. He can cast his vote using voter slip.
How to find your name in voter search
Voter to find his name on Voter Search, first of all go to the website of the State Election Commission, prunbahembhanvapanpad. After this, select your district by going to the voter search option available on the web page, after that enter the name or serial number of the concerned body and ward. After that, write the first three letters of your name in English, for example, a voter named Sunder Lal, after entering the first three letters of his name i.e. SUN, after pressing the search button, his name will appear in the voter list in which the voter’s name is father. The name of the part number, section, EPIC number, gender and the name of the polling station building will also appear. Now click on the tab “View” on the right hand side, the voter will see the voter slip containing his photo on the screen. After this, go to the print option and print the voter list.
Apart from this, the use of these documents as voter, identity card is approved by the Chhattisgarh State Election Commission-
Voter ID card supplied by the Election Commission of India i.e. e-pic card, bank post office photo passbook, passport, PAN card, Aadhar card, photo issued by the State Central Government, Public Sector Undertaking or local body to their officers and employees Service identity card, pension document with photo, MNREGA job card, health insurance scheme (smart) card with photo, driving license, freedom fighter photo identity card, photo mark list of class X and XII issued by the Central or State Board of Secondary Education, Bar Council Photo identity card issued by advocates, disability certificate with photo, ration card with valid photo issued by Chhattisgarh government, student identity card with photo issued by college or school, arms license with photo will be valid.

Under the Urban Bodies Election 2021, there is a general election in 15 urban bodies. In which 4 municipal corporations Bhilai, Bhilai-Charoda, Risali, and Birgaon, 5 municipal councils, Baikunthpur, Shivpur Charcha, Sargarh, Jamul, Khairagarh and 6 nagar panchayats in Premnagar, Narharpur, Konta, Bhairamgarh, Bhopalpatnam and Maro under general elections Votes will be cast on December 20. Similarly, Ward No. 5 and 25 of Municipal Corporation Raigarh, Ward No. 29 of Bilaspur, Ward No. 17 of Rajnandgaon, Ward No. 14 of Municipal Council Gobra Nawapara, Ward No. 5 and 11 of Bemetara, Ward No. 12 of Kondagaon, Nagar Panchayat Utai Voting will be held under by-election in Ward No. 5 of Bhanupratappur, Ward No. 9 of Basna, Ward No. 9 of Amdi, Ward No. 14 of Aamdi, Ward No. 1 of Kurud, Ward No. 11 of Magarlod and Thankhamharia Ward No. 11.
