To provide good education to the children of remote areas by the Government of Chhattisgarh, education is being provided with better environment including schools, ashrams, hostels, scholarships. According to the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, many institutions of Bastar, Raipur, Surguja, Bilaspur, Durg divisions have been upgraded as ideal hostels in the last 5 years. So that children can be provided education in a better environment, 10 hostels, ashrams in each of the 7 districts of Bastar division and 5-5 hostels in Gariaband and Dhamtari districts, 25 lakhs per building for 80 institutions for the upgradation of ashram schools. Institutions have been developed as ideal institutions by issuing budgets with respect.
Similarly, 10 hostels in Surguja, Surajpur, Balrampur and Korea districts of Surguja division and 12 hostels in Jashpur district, total 52 institutions and 12 Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 6 in Korba district, thus total 70 institutions as ideals. has been upgraded. The Government of Chhattisgarh has approved Rs 3750.00 lakh for the ideal upgradation of 150 hostels, ashrams and school buildings in total 16 districts of the state in the financial years 2020-21 and 2021-22. The tasks have been completed.
In the financial year 2022-23, the Government of Chhattisgarh has announced 5–5 in District Mungeli, Baloda Bazar and Bemetara, 10–10 in District Durg, Raigarh and Raipur and 8– in District Balod, Bilaspur, Janjgir Champa, Mahasamund, Kabirdham, and Rajnandgaon. Instructions have been given to upgrade 8 institutions, a total of 93 hostels, ashrams and school buildings to ideal institutions. A total of 2325.00 lakhs has been approved by the department. Other works have also been completed. In the financial year 2023-24, dung paint work was taken up in 500 institutions under maintenance in 1243 hostels in all the districts of the state. In which budget provision of Rs.1796.00 lakh has been made. Along with this, a budget provision of Rs 2765.76 lakh has been made for the construction of pre-fabricated bedrooms and toilets in 86 hostels for the residential facility of students in 44 new Eklavya Ideal Schools of the state.
