Chief Minister participated in the program organized by Chhattisgarh Nishad Samaj in Phundhar

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in Chhattisgarh Nishad Kenvat Samaj Pradesh Sangathan Bhoomi Poojan and annual conference program organized at Fundhar village in Raipur district today. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that Nishad society is a hardworking society. Our government took many decisions in the interest of Nishad community. The people of the society were also given proper representation in the government. We formed the Fishermen Welfare Board and gave the rank of cabinet minister to its chairman. The Kenvat society is associated with the business of fish farming. For the welfare of the society, we made a fisheries policy. Fish farming was given the status of agriculture, due to which fish farming has increased. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel released the book “Vibhutiyan of Nishad Samaj” and a book titled “Kenwat Kundra” written by Durga Prasad Parkar. In the program, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma and Chairman of Fishermen Welfare Board Mr. M.R. Nishad was present.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that our government is running along with the entire society. Our government is working for the welfare of all the society. Funds have been given for the construction of buildings on the demand of various societies during the meeting. Instructions were given to provide government land at the rate of 10 percent on the proposal of those societies which do not have land. The Chief Minister said that efforts are being made to strengthen the economic condition of all sections. That’s why Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Laborer Justice Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana was started. Our government is procuring 67 types of minor forest produce. Through these schemes, the economic condition of the common people has strengthened by reaching money in the pockets of the common people. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Swami Atmanand English medium schools have been opened in every block of every district of the state. Due to poor children getting education in English, their confidence has increased. He said that health facilities are continuously expanding. Many works have been done by us in the field of health from Haat Bazar Clinic scheme to new Medical College. In order to enable people to celebrate the traditional festivals of Chhattisgarh with enthusiasm, the state government has announced holiday for major local festivals.
