Raipur: Unique initiative for education of children studying through smart TV

Raipur 25 September 2020. Due to Karona, many efforts are being made by the state government and teachers for the education of children. The digital class was inaugurated by Parliamentary Secretary Shri Indrashah Mandavi in ​​13 schools of Patankhas Sankul located at the end of Mohla Development Block, Naxal affected tribal area of ​​Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district. He said that the development of Mohal Development Block is exemplary for others. Now the children here will study through Smart TV (Smart Class) Digital School. Teachers of schools here have pioneered to provide digital education to children by providing smart TVs. In the digital school, TV will be studied through mobile. In this class, there will be no need for any kind of singal, teachers will also be able to teach children in sports and games by connecting to mobile.

There are 280 schools run by the School Education Department in Mohla Development Block. Teaching has already started in 137 primary and secondary schools here. Smart TV has been made available for digital education to children in government schools of Patankhas with the financial support of local sarpanch, public representatives, villagers and teachers. Sarpanch Smt. India Komre of Patankhas and Patanwadi Sarpanch Smt. Jantri Bai Poretti have provided financial support of Rs. 18-18 thousand for 6 schools, Mohla Sarpanch Saraswati Thakur Rs. 6 thousand. The remaining amount was supported by the teachers.

Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Indrashah Mandavi congratulated the efforts of teachers on the occasion. The standard of education is being continuously improved as a smart class. Mr. Shah said that the children of this tribal area are going to study in the district, state and other states, which is good news for this Naxalite affected area.

In this episode, Mohalla class is being organized in the development block Tokapal of Dantewada district. Here in the locality, some children sit in the morning and evening reading, following social distancing at the designated site. These children are being taught under the learning program through educational videos and videos made by subject experts, which are benefiting the students. For educational quality, smart TV has been installed at Para-Mohalla in Taragaon complex. With this, children are getting offline education. There are about 12 smart TVs installed here. The video received from the Sikh program is also shown through Smart TV. Children are studying happily with this arrangement. Special care is being taken in the study process that there is no excessive crowd. In making the program successful, the educated youth and girls present in the village and the retired person are giving full support in the role of serviceman. The servicemen are taking classes at their convenience.
