Incentive certificate given to the state in a program organized in New Delhi on ‘World Patient Safety Day’

Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has honored Chhattisgarh for its excellent commitment and self-assessment in implementing patient safety activities through “SaQushal”. In a program organized in New Delhi on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day. The state was provided incentive certificate for this.

World Patient Safety Day is celebrated globally on 17 September every year to make people aware around the world about patient safety and to increase coordination and global understanding for it. On this occasion, states doing good work for patient safety were honored in a program organized by the Union Health Ministry in New Delhi on 15 September. Shri Vishal Chauhan, Joint Secretary of the Union Health Ministry, Dr. Neha Garg, Director of the National Health Mission, Shri Atul Kotwal, Executive Director of the National Health System Research Center, Dr. J.N., Advisor, Quality and Patient Safety, National Health System Research Center. Srivastava and representatives of various states were present in the program.

In the program, Joint Secretary of the Union Health Ministry, Shri Vishal Chauhan asked the hospitals of the states which have received National Quality Assurance Certificate to maintain the quality standards. He also asked other government hospitals of all the states to prepare to obtain the quality assurance certificate as soon as possible so that uniform quality health facilities can be provided to the patients in all the government hospitals of the country.
