Under the good governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, many schemes are being run for the empowerment, rehabilitation and protection of the interests of the disabled in the state. Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade said this while addressing the Pratibhavna Divyangjan Samman Samaroh organized on the completion of one year of government formation at Government Higher Secondary School for the Visually and Hearing Impaired, Mathpuraina in the capital Raipur today.

Minister Smt. Rajvade said that the state government is doing good work for the welfare and interest of the disabled people. We will continue to work for your interests in future as well. Our government is continuously serving all of you through development works. Our government has completed one year and we have approved all the pending works and taken them forward.

After listening to the song presented by Divyang children, he said that I am overwhelmed by listening to the song. He further said that Divyang people should get full love and encouragement from the people of the society. Today Divyang people are setting records in various fields in the country and state.

On this occasion, various cultural programmes were presented by Divyang children. On this occasion, deaf and dumb students presented a painting to Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwada on their behalf. Divyangjans renowned at national and state level were felicitated in the programme. E-rickshaws were provided to Divyang Shri Chandan Gilhare, resident of Devpuri and Divyang Bal Das Manikpuri, resident of village Bhainsa by Chhattisgarh Divyangjan Finance Vikas Nigam.

On this occasion, Deputy Director Mr. R.N. Bose, Deputy Director Bhupendra Pandey, Deputy Director (Finance) Kiran Khare, Principal Amit Trivedi, Superintendent Mrs. Sita along with other officers, employees and students were present.
