Humble tributes were paid in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today to late Shri Maksudan Chandrakar, Shri Amin Sai, Shri Laxmi Prasad Patel, Shri Agni Chandrakar and Shri Antu Ram Kashyap, former members of the undivided Madhya Pradesh and present Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. As soon as the proceedings of the House began, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh mentioned their demise and highlighted their personality and deeds.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that we have lost such loved ones who have increased the glory of the parliamentary tradition with their contribution. The contribution of all the members in social and political life was incomparable. Referring to the demise of late Shri Amin Sai ji, the Chief Minister said that the tribal society has lost its big leader. This is an irreparable loss. Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh has lost a senior politician in the form of late Shri Agni Chandrakar. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai also remembered late Shri Maksudan Chandrakar, Shri Antu Ram Kashyap and Shri Laxmi Prasad Patel and paid tribute to them.
Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, former Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap and other members also highlighted the personality of the late former members and told about their works. Humble tribute was paid to late Mr. Maksudan Chandrakar, Mr. Amin Sai, Mr. Laxmi Prasad Patel, Mr. Agni Chandrakar and Mr. Anturam Kashyap by observing two minutes silence in the House.
