Beneficiaries benefited in various schemes including tendupatta bonus on World Tribal Day

Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, schemes are being made for the welfare of not only the tribal society in the state, but for the upliftment of all the societies. Along with loan waiver of farmers, many important works like purchase of paddy at support price, purchase of minor forest produce at support price, PESA law, return of land to tribals, establishment of Devguri have been done. He was addressing the program organized on World Tribal Day at the auditorium located in the Priyadarshini Indira Stadium complex of Korba today.
Revenue Minister Mr. Aggarwal further said in the program that tribal society has an important role in the development of Chhattisgarh and Korba district. Due to his blessings and cooperation, big plants and mines have been established in the district, so it will be our priority to cooperate in the development of this society. He said that from the country’s first Prime Minister late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, Mr. P. V. Narasimha Rao, Mr. Manmohan Singh and others made plans for the development of tribal society and it was also implemented. On this occasion, he praised the initiative taken for development works in the Shaktipeeth complex established by the tribal society, construction of a shed worth Rs 50 lakh, Information about the building etc. was also given. Special guest Mrs. Shivkala Chhatrapal Singh Kanwar and patron of tribal Shaktipeeth and society Mr. Mohan Singh Pradhan also addressed. On this occasion, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Korba Mr. Rajkishore Prasad, District President Haresh Kanwar, Chairman Mr. Shyam Sundar Soni, along with many office bearers of tribal society and a large number of social brothers were present.
On the occasion of World Tribal Day, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agarwal gave Tendupatta bonus of Rs.97,404 to Rajkumar Rathiya of Thakurkheta and Rs.93,244 to Shersingh Rathiya of Tevanara, Rs.40,203 to Saroj Kumar of Gram Panchayat Jalke. Resident Mrs. Champa Bai was given Rs. 02 lakh under Shaheed Mahendra Karma Bima Yojana and Rs. 4455 commission was given to Tulsi Mahila Self Help Group on the purchase of Kodo. Similarly, irrigation pump to Mr. Vijay Kumar, power spare pump to Umend Singh and Sonaram of Chakamar, fishing net and ice box to Pradeep Singh and Mahesh Kanwar of Kurudih, solar pump to Navneet Kumar Gond and Ganpat Singh of Sutra under Saur Sujala scheme. have been delivered.
In the program, the Revenue Minister gave Rs. 03 lakh to Masinder Singh of Pedia and a tractor to Mr. Anees Porte of Kurtha under the departmental scheme. Meritorious students Kameshwar Maravi, Prince Kumar and Akanksha Singh were felicitated for their excellent performance in the class X examination of Prayas Residential School. Gram Panchayat Lemru awarded as FRA Model Village. Along with this, individual forest rights letters and 06 community forest resource rights letters were distributed to 987 beneficiaries. Similarly, loan books were distributed to Prem Singh of village Lemru, Roman resident of Arsena.
