Tribal, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Minister Mr. Mohan Markam, after assuming office on Friday, July 14, informed about the progress of departmental schemes by taking an introductory courtesy meeting with departmental officers at New Circuit House, Raipur today, July 15. Addressing the departmental officers, Minister Mr. Mohan Markam said that the department is running schemes for the benefit of more than 85 percent of the population of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and Minorities. He said that the implementation of these schemes has to be conducted with transparency.

Shammi Abidi under departmental schemes, Adarsh Eklavya Residential School, Prayas Residential School, Hostel-Ashram Operation, Scholarship and Scholarship Distribution, Youth Career Building, Distribution of Forest Rights Papers, Article 275 (1) of the Constitution, Special Central Help, scheduled caste sub-plan, Adarsh Gram Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, sports complex, relief plan, informed about the progress of construction work. Information about the activities of the Tribal Research and Training Institute was also taken in the meeting.
