Raipur: To prevent accidents in schools, teachers need to be sensitive

Raipur, 23 February 2022. Rajesh Singh Rana, Joint Secretary, School Education Department and Director of SCERT, said that the Chief Minister’s school security program would be successful if the teachers work with sensitivity. The success of any program depends on the role of the head of that organization. The modalities of the maintenance management of the school depend on the role of the head of the school. Mr. Rana said that the Chief Minister’s school security program can be successful only with our sensitivity, I am sure that after leaving from here all the assistant BEOs and teachers will make it result-oriented. To prevent possible accidents under disaster management in schools, it is necessary to have knowledge of immediate first aid arrangements and preventive measures without wasting time.
Dr. Yogesh Shivhare, Additional Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training, said at the conclusion of the five-day training on the subject of school safety and personal safety at BEd College, Raipur, that this training is successful only when we take care of our potential accidents on which our attention. Will make at least one effort to stop them immediately after reaching home and school. In the training, various aspects related to disaster management and personal safety were told through mock drills. 163 participants from all the districts of the state participated in the training.

In the training, the methods of providing immediate first aid without wasting time were given to prevent possible accidents. Gave information regarding gas cylinder explosion, fire, child abuse, physical abuse etc. The points of Sustainable Development Goal were also explained to the participants. Yoga training was also given to the participants. The training module was made available in pen drive to all the participants by UNICEF.
Prashant Kumar Pandey, Assistant Director, State Literacy Mission Authority also addressed. The program was conducted by Dr. Vidyavati Chandrakar of SCRT and thanked Assistant Professor Mr. A.K. Saraswat did it. On this occasion, training in-charge Sunil Mishra, UNICEF and subject experts of Arpan Sanstha were present. UNICEF and Arpan Sanstha actively participated in this five-day training organized by SCERT and Samagra Shiksha.
It is worth mentioning that during the state level training, Manish Garg, Joint Secretary, Government of India, Department of School Education and Literacy, Director Public Education Mr Sunil Jain, UNICEF State Head Mr Jab Zakaria also discussed with the participants. In the training, Sonali Maheshwari, Vandana Chauhan, Asif Jha, Vishal Vaswani, Dr. Shravan Kumar Singh, Dr. Shyam Kumar of Arpan Foundation gave training. Among the participants, Satish Upadhyay, Asghar Khan, Veemitra Drutalharen shared their views.
