Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that to build a developed India, we will have to make developed Chhattisgarh. The state government is working rapidly for the social and economic development of Chhattisgarh and fulfilling the guarantees of Modi ji. We will fulfill every promise made to the public. Chief Minister Shri Sai was addressing the ‘Developed India Developed Chhattisgarh’ program organized at Dussehra Ground Mohla in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district today. He said that the state government will take all possible measures to beautify the newly formed five districts including Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh outpost. There will be no shortage of resources for the development of the districts.

In the programme, the Chief Minister announced the sanction of Rs 50 lakh for the construction of a well-equipped community building in Mohla. Apart from this, he also announced construction of interstate bus stand in Manpur, pond beautification, branch of District Cooperative Central Bank in Gotatola, upgrading of Mohla-Manpur College to PG College and construction of road from Churiya Mandir to Shitala Mandir. On this occasion, he performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 115 development works costing Rs 46 crore 83 lakh 12 thousand and also distributed materials and checks worth Rs 18 lakh 10 thousand to 128 beneficiaries under various schemes. From the venue of the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai had a virtual conversation with the Sarpanches of Gram Panchayat Kekatitola, Goulitola and Kunjamatola, out of 144 Gram Panchayats connected through online medium under the Bharat Net Scheme under the Aspirational District.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the public has shown faith in the guarantees of our country’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The three-month period of Chhattisgarh governance has been completed and in 90 days, Chhattisgarh government has done a lot of great work. Today, Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 115 development works worth Rs 46 crore 83 lakh 12 thousand has been done, for which he extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the district. He said that as soon as the government was formed, keeping the promise, 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been approved. He said that construction of houses will start in the new financial year.

The Prime Minister had given a guarantee to the farmers that if our government is formed, we will give the outstanding paddy bonus of 2 years. On Atal ji’s birthday and Good Governance Day, we fulfilled this guarantee by transferring the outstanding paddy bonus of Rs 3716 crore to the bank accounts of 13 lakh farmers. Similarly, the Prime Minister had guaranteed purchase of paddy at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and at the rate of 21 quintal per acre. Fulfilling this guarantee, we made a lump sum payment of support price to the farmers and on March 12, the difference amount of Rs 13 thousand 320 crore has also been transferred in lump sum to 24 lakh 75 thousand farmers under Krishak Unnati Yojana.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of Rs 1000 per month will be deposited in the bank account of women. Under the scheme, the first installment of Rs 655 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of more than 70 lakh women of the state. He said that Ramlala Darshan Scheme has been started in the state and till now Ram devotees have gone to Ayodhya twice from Raipur and Bilaspur. Devotees will go to Ayodhya in future too.  

The government will take care that there are no thorns in the feet of the forest dwellers.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the collection rate for tendu leaf collectors has been increased from Rs 4000 per standard bag to Rs 5500 per standard bag. He said that Charan Paduka Scheme will be started again. Under this, Charan Paduka will be given to the forest dwellers, so that they do not get thorns in their feet. He said that arrangements for scholarship and insurance will be made for the children of tendu leaf collectors. The government will provide gas cylinders to the needy under the Ujjwala scheme. He said that we will complete the work of fulfilling the guarantee of Prime Minister Modi 100 percent.

Niyad Nellanar Scheme: 21 security centers made convenience centers for rural-

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district is a sensitive district. Camps are being opened in Maoist affected areas from security point of view and in three months, 21 camps have been started, which are also facility centres. Public welfare schemes of the government will be implemented expeditiously in the villages falling within its five kilometer radius. In these sensitive areas, basic facilities like drinking water, roads, education, ration, Aadhaar card will be started under Aapka Achcha Gaon Yojana. The Prime Minister has given more than Rs 7 thousand crore to the railway sector. He assured for the improvement of 5 new districts and overall development there. He said that the Prime Minister has brought the country to fifth place in the world in the field of economy. In the coming 5 years our country will be included in the third largest economy of the world. Along with developed India, we will also have to talk about developed Chhattisgarh and developed districts. He said that Chhattisgarh is a state rich in forest produce and mineral resources. There is a need for value addition of minor forest produce. Mineral resources like coal, iron, gold, tin, bauxite are available in abundance here.

    MP Shri Santosh Pandey said that 498 gram panchayats of the district have been selected under Jal Jeevan Mission, in which work is being done to ensure the availability of drinking water at a cost of Rs 800 crore. Eklavya Vidyalaya is being constructed on 10 acres in the district. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state is moving rapidly in the direction of development. Due to the double engine government, many development works are taking place in the district. Basic works like housing, electricity, water, hospital, school are being completed as per the need of the area. Work is being done to beautify the district. He told that electricity is being generated from solar panels near Dongargarh. On this occasion, MLA Mr. Indrashah Mandavi, District Panchayat President Mrs. Geeta Sahu, former MP Mr. Abhishek Singh, Mr. Madhusudan Yadav, former MLA Mr. Sanjeev Shah, Mr. Komal Janghel, Mr. Dinesh Gandhi, Kanchan Bala Bhuarya, Namrata Singh, IG Mr. Deepak Jha. , Collector Mr. S. Jayawardhan, Superintendent of Police Mr. Yashpal Singh and other public representatives, a large number of beneficiaries and citizens were present.
