‘Geetanjali and Ashirwad Samiti became self-employed entrepreneurs’

The taste of delicious spicy, fragrant salty dishes being prepared in Ripa Gauthan of Tilai village of Janjgir Champa district is being praised everywhere. Due to this appreciation, the members of Gitanjali Samiti, Ashirwad Samiti, who are working hard, are carrying out their work very well and are leaving their mark in Janjgir-Champa district. The members of the committee say that through the state government’s ambitious Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA), women, youth and villagers are moving forward by linking self-employment with employment.
Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park i.e. Ripa Yojana, which was started in Adarsh Gauthan of Gram Panchayat Tilai. After the start of this scheme, when gram flour, boondi manufacturing unit, potato chips, banana chips manufacturing unit was established in Tilai, the Gitanjali Samiti and Ashirwad Samiti of the village preferred to join it. The committee members are so attached to their work that they do not go home until they finish their work. He is whole heartedly engaged in this work and is on the way to become a successful entrepreneur. Geetanjali Samiti’s Chairperson Smt. Roopa Kurre and Secretary Smt. Jyoti Katare state that worksheds and different types of machinery like Farsan machine, frying machine, packaging machine, dryer machine etc. were made available to the committee through RIPA. So on the other hand, Mrs. Phuleshwari Kaushik, President of Ashirwad Committee, tells that along with working shed, cutting machine, frying machine, packaging machine, Found dryer machine, mixer machine. The members of the committee said that when the work shed and the machine were found, then there was no one to stop them from moving forward. After getting better training, he joined Namkeen Mixture and Chips manufacturing unit and started making different types of products.
‘Supplying in other districts as well’
Geetanjali and Ashirwad Samiti have a total of 7-7 members in which 4 are women and 3 are men who are doing this work. Mixture, Raita, Boondi, Gathia, Papdi, Masala Mixture, Barik Sev, Tasty Mixture, Navratan, Sadabahar, Bhavna Giri etc. are being prepared by the committee, apart from this different varieties of chips are being prepared and sold to other districts including Janjgir. Sending for sale in districts like Raigarh, Bilaspur, Korba. Gitanjali has earned a net profit of Rs 84 thousand 700 by selling the products of the society. So while selling its products through Aashirwad Samiti, it earned a net profit of Rs.42,000. The members of the committee said that before joining Ripa, agricultural work, farming farmers used to do labor work, by joining Ripa, the livelihood of all the members increased and they became successful entrepreneurs by becoming self-reliant and self-reliant.
