Narco and brain mapping test of suspects helped police
Raipur, 02 April 2021. Three accused of the much-publicized Shubham murder case were arrested in Rajnandgaon nearly two and a half years ago as a result of instructions by Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu for speedy action when crime cases came to the notice. In addition to maintaining law and order in the state, the Home Minister directs immediate action to senior officers of the department including DGP, IG and SP, when incidents related to murder, robbery, human trafficking, crime against women come to their notice. He has been instructing to review and resolve crime cases from time to time by taking district and state level meetings.
On the instructions of the Home Minister, the Rajnandgaon police have got a big success in arresting the accused of Shubham murder case and sending them to jail. It is noteworthy that in September 2018, Shubham Namdev was found in an injured state in Rajnandgaon. Shubham died on the way to the hospital for treatment by the team of Dial 112. On this, the case of murder by the police station Lalbagh was established and taken under investigation. Even after interrogating about 300 people and sifting the call details of more than two and a half thousand people, no clue was found regarding the murder and due to corona infection, permission was also not given to conduct narco and brain mapping tests of the suspects last year. After the situation became normal, some suspects underwent narcotic and brain mapping tests at Gandhinagar in Gujarat. Inspector General of Police Shri Vivekanand Sinha and Superintendent of Police Shri D.V. The team of police officers, formed under the able leadership of Shravan, summoned the suspects for close questioning based on the test report. On being questioned psychologically, the three accused confessed their crime. The culprits include Nitin Limbu age 40 years, Gauri Nagar, Dinesh Maheshwari alias Golu Marwadi age 37 years Kilapara and Megha Tiwari age 24 years Srishti Colony Rajnandgaon.
