Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that the thoughts and ideals of Saint Guru Ravidas are relevant even today. We should follow his ideals. He said that for any society to move forward, it is important to be organized as well as educated. He was addressing the state level mega conference organized by Sant Shiromani Shri Ravidas Mahasabha at Jhalaap in Mahasamund district today. On this occasion, he announced a donation of Rs 10 lakh for social development works and enhancing the talent of youth.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that he is the first Chief Minister to attend the conference of Ravidas Samaj. This is a matter of good fortune for them. He said that this society is the ancestor of great saints. Due to the unwavering devotion of Saint Shri Ravidas ji, Mother Ganga had to come under his tutelage. Kabir Das, Mirabai, Guru Nanak Dev also had great respect for Ravidas ji. All these saints and mahatmas of that era were fighting social evils in their own way and were showing the true path of spirituality to the society. Guru Ravidas ji told us that purity of mind is most important. State Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap also participated in the program.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government has been in power for only two months. We have started fulfilling Modi’s guarantee. 18 lakh PM housing has been approved. Support price: We are purchasing paddy from farmers at the rate of 21 quintals per acre till 04 February. Our government has transferred the outstanding bonus of two years amounting to Rs 3716 crore to the accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers of the state. He said that another guarantee of PM Modi is going to be fulfilled. For this, we have also approved the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the recent cabinet meeting. Through this scheme, now married mothers and sisters will be given Rs 12 thousand every year directly in their accounts. This amount will come to the accounts of the beneficiaries very soon.  

The program was also addressed by Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, MP Shri Chunni Lal Sahu, Basna MLA Shri Sampat Aggarwal, former MLA Dr. Vimal Chopra, former Cabinet Minister Shri Atmaram Ji Parmar who arrived from Gujarat. On this occasion, former MLA Mrs. Roop Kumari Choudhary, Prashant Srivastava, Dhruv Kumar Mirdha, Budheshwar Sonwani, Devendra Rautiya and representatives of the society and a large number of members of Guru Ravidas Mahasabha were present.
