The villagers used to cross the river in a boat, which risked their lives. Often an accident occurred while crossing the river. The boat also became unusable due to the Shabari river being in spate during the rainy season. When needed, the villagers had to cross the river in compulsion. Now they can easily travel through the bridge to the villages across the river in a short time. It is noteworthy that Industries Minister Shri Kavasi Lakhma fulfilled his promises made to the people of the area and launched this bridge constructed on 09 February 2021 on the Shabari river in the village panchayat Ganjenar under Chhindgarh development block.
