Instructions given to ensure the presence of doctors in all health centers

Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma took a review meeting of the officers of the district in the Collectorate meeting hall today during his stay at the district headquarters Sukma. Reviewing the ongoing schemes in the district, he said that work should be done on priority to provide basic facilities like roads, electricity, drinking water, health. Shri Lakhma instructed to complete the work of electrification in the villages soon. He asked the administration and the people’s representatives to work in coordination so that the eligible beneficiaries could get the benefits of the schemes of the government. He instructed the health department officials to provide adequate medicines in all camps, potakabin ashrams and hostels to prevent conjunctivitis, diarrhea, malaria etc. due to the changing weather. Also asked to ensure the presence of doctors in all health centers. 
     During the review of RIPA, Minister Mr. Lakhma asked to connect youth and women with maximum activities of RIPA, so that apart from connecting them with employment, the rural economy can be strengthened. In the meeting, he instructed to complete the construction of schools, ashrams, hostels, anganwadi centers, hospital buildings etc. in the district with quality soon. Also asked to ensure the arrangement of teachers in the schools in proportion to the recorded number of children. He appreciated the work of the Women and Child Development Department for reducing the malnutrition rate in the district by 8 percent. In the meeting, he took cognizance of storage and lifting of fertilizers, seeds, vermi-compost in the district. Along with this, the people’s representatives should be appointed as sarpanch, secretary, Taking a meeting of district member, asked to make farmers aware for e-KYC for PM Samman Nidhi Yojana. He took information about the animal distribution scheme from the officials of the Animal Husbandry Department and gave instructions for vaccination from time to time to prevent diseases in animals.
