Chief Minister participated in mother-father worship program in Kandora, Jashpur
Chief Minister declared 14th February as Mother-Father Worship Day in Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today participated as the chief guest in the mother-father worship program organized in village Kandora of Kunkuri development block of Jashpur district. During this, he said that there is nothing greater than serving our parents, hence we all should touch the feet of our parents every day and seek their blessings and pay obeisance to them. If you keep them happy, life will be successful. The Chief Minister also announced to celebrate February 14 as Mother-Father Worship Day in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while congratulating and best wishes to the organizers for organizing the program as Mother-Father Puja Day, said that his Guru had said that parents are greater than God. Mother gives birth. Provides nourishment after being kept in the womb for 9 months. If the parents are not happy, then all the pujas are all in vain. Even in the Vedas, parents have the highest place. Citing examples from religious stories, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of parents and appealed to all sons and daughters to keep their parents happy, seek their blessings and respect and honor them. The program was also addressed by Shri Rajiv Ranjan Nande and Shri Yogesh Bapat of Vanvasi Ashram. Explaining the importance of parents, he talked about taking their blessings and staying away from western culture to serve their parents and bring glory to them. During this, Padmashree Shri Jageshwar Yadav, Shri Ram Pratap Singh, Divisional Commissioner G.R. Churendra, Public Relations Commissioner Shri Mayank Srivastava, I.G. Mr. Ankit Garg, Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal, Superintendent of Police Mr. Shashimohan Singh etc. were present.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, after participating in the mother-father puja program, while remembering his parents with emotion, said that in his childhood, after the shadow of his father was gone from his head, he saw the form of father and mother in his mother. and continued receiving his blessings. He told that even today I touch their feet and take blessings and I feel that the position where I am today, being the Chief Minister, is due to the blessings of my parents.
Children worshiped their parents
The children participating in the program worshiped their parents as per rituals and also took a pledge to serve their parents. The children greeted Chief Minister Shri Sai and other guests on the stage and received blessings.
