Instructions given to resolve all pending revenue cases within stipulated time limit

Chhattisgarh Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankram Verma has assumed charge today after offering prayers at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan.
After this, Minister Shri Verma held a meeting of departmental officers of Sports and Revenue Department and took detailed information regarding the departmental schemes.
He inquired about the development of infrastructure for sports participants, its activities and sports institutions available. Minister Shri Verma said that the youth of the state will be provided better opportunities for various sports disciplines. Along with leveling all the sports grounds in the state, the grounds will be made fully equipped so that the players get ample opportunities to progress. He gave instructions to register the sports clubs formed at the rural level. Grants can also be given to these sports clubs as per requirement. After taking information about the budget of the Sports Department, he also gave instructions to present the budget as soon as possible to accelerate sports activities.
While reviewing the Revenue Department, Shri Verma instructed the officers to resolve all the pending revenue cases within the stipulated time limit. Action will be taken as per rules against the officers and employees who do not resolve them within the time limit.
On this occasion, Departmental Secretary Bhuvanesh Yadav, Special Secretary Ramesh Sharma, Joint Secretary Hina Animesh Netam, Sports Department Secretary Himshikhar Gupta, Director Shweta Srivastava Sinha and other officers of the department were present.
