Raipur, 08 July 2021. A delegation led by social activist Padmashree Smt. Phulbasan Bai Yadav met Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan here today. Mrs. Yadav invited them to visit Rajnandgaon to see the work of women’s groups. Appreciating the work of Smt. Yadav, the Governor said that the work of connecting and empowering women’s groups being done by her is inspiring. Such works pave the way for women to move forward. He assured all possible help to Mrs. Yadav. Mrs. Yadav told that a company has been formed by her named Maa Bamleshwari Mahila Foundation. Women’s groups have been added to it. About 1400 women are involved in this company, which is associated with many women’s groups. The work of making organic manure is being done by many women’s groups. Also dairy is being run. Branding this dairy like Amul is being attempted. An American organization will soon come to Rajnandgaon for its observation and training. Mrs. Yadav informed that organic manures made by her are being sent to the country and the state. Due to this women are getting good income and becoming self-reliant. Smt. Anupama Tripathi and Ms. Jiteshwari Sahu were present on the occasion.
