In view of Holi festival, Radhakrishna Mahila Group of Narayanpur district of remote Vananchal state prepared herbal gulal and launched it in the market for sale. The herbal gulal of Radhakrishna Women’s Group is being appreciated not only by the administration and the local people. Rather, the administration has duly sent a stall in the collectorate premises for its marketing by Collector Shri Dharmesh Sahu. This herbal Gulal Palak Bhaji, Lal Bhaji, Beetroot, Turmeric, by Radhakrishna Women’s Group Marigold is prepared from extracts of lilies and pallas. In order to protect skin and body from the damage caused by chemical gulal sold in the market, people are liking the natural gulal prepared by the women self-help group. It is worth noting that Radhakrishna women’s group was also duly trained by Krishi Vigyan Kendra to make herbal gulal and how much quantity of what to use when preparing gulal. It has also been taught. A quintal herbal gulal has been produced so far by the Radhakrishna Women’s Group. Which is being sold at the rate of Rs. 200 per kg.
